Common questions

Why does the app ask me to pick a folder?

The Mac App Store version runs in the macOS App Sandbox. It can only open folders you choose with the Open dialog. Native IDE remembers each one so you do not have to choose it again.

A project shows "Locate…"

The folder was moved, renamed or is on a disconnected drive. Click Locate and pick it again.

Source Control says Git was not found

Install Apple's Command Line Tools: open Terminal, run xcode-select --install, then reopen the folder.

How do I remove my data?

Close each project in the app, then delete the app. Native IDE keeps nothing outside your Mac.
